Android
Download the app file (APK) and install it directly. No Google Play needed.
Download for AndroidHow to install on Android
- Tap Download for Android. If your browser asks to keep the file, choose Download or OK.
- Open JusticeLink.apk from the download notification, or from the Downloads / Files app. If Android says "For your security, your phone isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source", tap Settings and switch on Allow from this source for your browser (Chrome, Samsung Internet, etc.), then go back.
- Tap Install, then Open. If Google Play Protect shows a warning because the app isn't from the Play Store, tap More details then Install anyway.
You can switch the "unknown apps" permission off again after installing. Only install the file from justicelinkug.org.
iPhone & iPad
Add JusticeLink to your Home Screen from Safari. It takes about 10 seconds.
You must use Safari for this. Open justicelinkug.org/download.html in Safari, then follow the steps.
- Open this page in Safari.
- Tap the Share button (a square with an arrow pointing up). It is at the bottom of the screen on iPhone and at the top on iPad.
- Scroll down in the menu and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top-right corner. The JusticeLink icon now appears on your Home Screen. Open it from there.
Apple doesn't allow app files to be installed outside the App Store, so this Home Screen version is the way to install JusticeLink on iPhone.
Prefer not to download a file?
Your browser can install JusticeLink directly, with no APK.
Troubleshooting
The download is blocked or the file won't open
Open this page in Chrome (not inside WhatsApp, Facebook or another app), tap download again, and allow the install permission when asked. If the file still fails, delete it from Downloads and download it again on a stable connection.
How do I update the app?
Download the newest file from this page and install it over the old one. Your account and data stay safe on the server.
